Sabinal River

  The Sabinal is a jewel. Most of my fishing here has been just below the town of Utopia and around Lost Maples State Park. I first guided this river in about 1998. I’ve fished this river with some great former Hill Country guides including, Johnny Quiroz, Joey Lin, Aaron Riggins and Gerardo Huerta. This river is truly wild and sightings of native and exotics are common. The river is little and just big enough for a canoe and it is full of fish ready to strike a fly.
